Hi, my name is Stephanie and I married my husband, Jakin, on May 27, 2006. We found out we were pregnant on May 4, 2009 and decided not to find out the gender of our baby. We had a baby GIRL named Emma Lynn on December 31,2009 - It was the best New Years Eve EVER!!! We also have a Maltese/Yorkie mix dog, whose name is Tressel - he was my first baby and he makes me smile everyday!! I am a registered nurse that has worked both in the Operating Room and a Surgical Intensive Care Unit - currently I am taking a sabbatical from work to stay at home with Emma and finish graduate school. I am in graduate school to become a nurse practitioner- I have 1 year to go and am so excited to start the next leg of my nursing career.
I love being a Mom and enjoy writing about the journeys that Emma and I are taking together. My joys are reading a good book (which honestly hasn't occurred in awhile because I just don't have time), watching TV, going on walks with Emma and Tressel, and teaching Emma how to shop like a pro. Jakin and I also LOVE The Ohio State University Football Team- we look forward to fall every year!! Go Bucks!!!
